Led by the whole team, followed by the whole team: Moldbreaker Studio believes in breaking the conventional molds of design across fields but with teamwork. Our second motto is following design thinking. One step ahead of typical designers and agencies, we see businesses as complex structures that face very real but solvable problems. The thinking should ideally move from I need a logo to I want to create impact.
The world as we know is ever-changing and full of people looking for new ways of discovering, sharing, purchasing, and living. How can you make a difference with your product, your service? That's the #1 question you should be asking. The how part is something you can answer, probably. But doing it takes effort.
We're equipped with the proper tools and skillset to solve these problems. Design as an industry is supposed to stand up to challenges and beat them. It's not an industry merely for aesthetics or the looks. From climate change to space exploration - design is in everything. If one only remembers to apply design thinking, the world will have a lot less problems.
With that lies our loyalty. An undying dedication towards building unique branding and identity design while always trying our best to solve problems and create meaningful experiences rather than doing graphic design or making a logo.
People-centric, Technically doable, Economically feasible, Uniquely yours
Build market understanding
Nothing can fall in place if the design doesn’t function. The first step is always building a foundation through market research, competitor analysis, surveys, internet research, and using our experience.
Each industry is different and we prize ourselves in being able to respect that every time we take up a new project.
Get some eureka moments
Breakthrough ideas for amplifying your branding take time to build and refine. Good ideas are the most critical part of the pipeline. And we come up with some great ones.
Good ideas follow naturally from our industry experience as well, but we make sure each project gets ideas that are unique.
Prototype more, and then some
What a freelancer or conventional agency lacks is the time and reasoning for prototyping. We have the team size, dedication, and speed to take care of a lot of compartmentalized prototyping to test ideas in real situations. From doodles to mockups and campaigns - we do everything viable to test the ideas before starting to work on them. This phase improves a lot of ideas and dismisses those that look good but wouldn’t work.
Get the cursor moving
Design is a software-heavy work. Ideas are only as good as you can execute them. In our field, execution of ideas happens digitally. Even the automobile design or packaging design we do is done on our machines with our software and displays that we love so much. This is the most time-consuming part of the cycle. We execute the ideas, often come up with new ones, and definitely revise the great ones to improve them further.
Finally, deploy the package
Good design is easily deployable. For example, the purpose of this webpage is to present information. It doesn’t need to be cutting-edge, loaded with visual effects to show what we can do -- we have a page to show that. So this page is clean and with readable, visually-accentuated copy. Easy to load, which is an important criteria for webpages that need to serve information. Deployment is therefore super-easy.
Unique identity design means design that will simply fail even when applied on your closest competitor. Why? Unless you're unique, your brand awareness, recall, advocacy, and return business will suffer. These are very real challenges and unique branding solves all of them in one single blow. Everything else is just an addition on top of that.
